Strawberries are in season here in the South and we have been enjoying fresh berries. We eat them with yogurt, in smoothies, and just plain for a snack.
I try to purchase them in a large quantity to save a few dollars. I keep some in the refrigerator to eat fresh and flash freeze the rest for smoothies and milk shakes! Yum!!
I also love to add a couple frozen strawberries to a cold glass of water.

Random question.. but maybe a strawberry lover would know. What is a price where you should by a ton of them for jelly or bulk?
ReplyDeleteI think the cheapest I bought them for last year was about $.99 a pint, but I'm sure it depends on your area. Hope this helps!
