Fine China or Paper & Plastic

I am getting ready to host Thanksgiving dinner at my house for the fifth year in a row. Each year has been a wonderful and memorable experience and each year I have learned how to make the experience a little bit easier.

One way I like to simplify is by using paper plates and napkins and plastic cups.

This may seem like sacrilege to some, but for me this is just one way to cut my "kitchen time" and enjoy more family time.

Do you have any tips or tricks to make the big day a success?

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  1. Hey, I just bought those cups & napkins too! Did you get the plates? Great minds.

  2. That's great! :) They were out of the matching plates...

  3. I cook as much as I can in the days ahead so on Thanksgiving day, i just have to reheat. Plus I never turn down help :-)

  4. Ok, so where did you ladies get those cute plates, napkins, and cups? Do tell.

  5. Love the plates...I totally agree with making things as simple as possible. I would much rather spend time with family than to be doing dishes.
