Homemade Refried Beans

  There is no comparison between homemade refried beans and the kind in a can.  You can take this pinto bean recipe and make into tasty refried beans.  Simply cook the beans until soft and mash until smooth.  They can easily be frozen and thawed as needed.  I love to use them as a side for tacos or as a layer on taco dip.
