Slow Cooker Swedish Meatballs

Here's a yummy recipe for Swedish Meatballs that can be made in the slow cooker.  Because this recipe uses frozen meatballs, it only takes a few minutes to prep!

These meatballs have the most delicious, creamy sauce that tastes great over egg noodles or rice!

Here's the recipe for you to try...

                       (printable version)

Ingredients:

1 lb. frozen pre-cooked meatballs
1 (10.75 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon dried parsley
dash of nutmeg

Directions:

Place frozen meatballs in slow cooker.  Mix remaining ingredients until smooth and pour over meatballs.  Cook on low for 4-6 hours.

Enjoy!

  3. I love Swedish meatballs! I'm happy to add this easy on-the-go version of this delicious meal! My great grandma passed away right before Easter and she had a famous Swedish meatball recipe that's been handed down each generation. We ate them at the funeral. I'm so glad to have something tangible that I can make whenever I want to remind me of her. We serve ours with mashed potatoes - amazing!

    Thanks for the recipe!
