These yummy crescent squares are one of my husband's favorite meals! They have an awesome flavor and use only a few simple ingredients!
Start by mixing the cream cheese, butter, chicken, onion, salt and pepper. You can use yellow onion or substitute chives instead.
Now divide the crescent rolls into four rectangles and place filling in the center of each rectangle.
Pull the corners of each rectangle to the center and twist the dough. Seal the edges by pressing the dough together.
Add the crushed croutons and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Ingredients:
3 oz. package cream cheese (softened)
1 T. butter (softened)
2 c. cooked chicken (cubed)
1 T. chopped onion or chives
1/4 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
8 oz. can refrigerated crescent rolls
1 T. butter (melted)
3/4 c. seasoned croutons (crushed)
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese and softened butter until smooth. Add chicken, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
2. Separate crescent dough into four rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 c. of chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull four corners of dough to center of chicken mixture; twist firmly. Pinch edges to seal.
3. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops of squares with melted butter; sprinkle with crushed croutons.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serves: 4
