Pasta Salad

Here's a yummy recipe for quick and easy pasta salad.

The secret ingredient in this salad is Good Seasons dry seasoning mix.

The seasoning packet makes this recipe quick to throw together.

Of course, to make it taste even better refrigerate it overnight!

 Here's the recipe...

   (printable version)

2 packets Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix
1/2 c. vinegar
6 Tablespoons water
1 c. oil
16 oz. garden rotini pasta (cooked)
1 c. mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 T. dry chopped onion
3 oz. chopped pepperoni

Mix dressing according to package using vinegar, water and oil.  In a large bowl combine dressing, pasta, cheese, onion and pepperoni.  Chill.

Etched Glass Picture Frame

Here's a little project that I made with my new Cricut machine!  I got an awesome deal on a Cricut through an auction on Ebay.  I have been trying out the different features, but this is the first project I have made.

Donnie's brother got married this weekend and I used this opportunity to make a unique and personalized gift for them to remember their special day.

To make this personalized frame I used glass etching cream.

I purchased a smaller bottle and used a coupon at Michael's, so it really wasn't that expensive!  I also read that the cream is reusable if you want to scrape it off of the project when it is done etching and pour it back into the bottle.

I used the Cricut to cut a stencil out of contact paper and placed it on the frame in the spot that I wanted to etch.   You could also cut it out of vinyl, but contact paper is cheaper!

{You can still do this project even if you don't own a Cricut, by purchasing your stencil from a company that sells vinyl lettering.}

I applied a thick layer of etching cream, waited 10 minutes and wiped it off.  I would also recommend washing the glass with soap and water to make sure all of the cream is gone.  Remove your contact paper or vinyl and you are all done!

Super easy and fun!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

Today, instead of a recipe, I am sharing a fun project involving food...

These chocolate peanut butter cookies are super easy to make, because they use packaged peanut butter crackers.

Here's what you need...

Simply dip the crackers in melted almond bark and decorate with sprinkles.
That's It...  So Easy!

This would be a super fun project for kids!
Very pretty and very yummy!
