We've finally had warmer weather here in the South and it has motivated me to start decorating my house for spring.  I found this post from Better Homes and Gardens that inspired my pinwheel obsession.  I just love the bright colored pinwheels in the cute clay pots!

So cute!

I followed the tutorial from the post and made paper pinwheels using some cute Martha Stewart scrapbook paper.  I scavenged around my house to find pots for the pinwheels and got creative to get the look I wanted.

I found a clear vase and used moss and ribbon to accent the colors in the pinwheels and to coordinate with the colors in my living room.

I also used a cute mug that I had lying around the house...

and a mason jar...

and this metal bucket from the dollar store.

spray painted ivy green.

I also made a spring plaque from a board that I purchased at the thrift store for $.79...

using a little Mod Podge and scrapbook paper.

I'm officially ready for spring & am hoping the warm weather is here to stay!
