I just recently painted my front door and needed a wreath to match the new paint color.

The door was a boring white...
BEFORE
It is now bright red!
AFTER...
I made this burlap wreath using the same idea as my burlap Valentine wreath.
{Can you tell how much I LOVE burlap?}
Instead of using a wire hanger, my handy husband soldered a heavy copper wire together to make a giant ring. I threaded 4" strips of burlap onto the ring and he soldered it closed. This was so much sturdier than the wire hanger and looked a lot nicer too!
To add some color, I tied 1" strips of fabric throughout the wreath.

I love this. The door is so pretty red, and the wreath is amazing. Nice idea soldering a heavy wire into a ring! It looks great.
